On-Site Checklist – Going the ‘Extra’ Mile

Went on-site for the 8th time this past month.

We went out to Philly, for a potential $200K+ deal.

Here’s my playbook each time.

Things you can do to stand out during:

  1. Print a one-pager business case for each person
  2. Cater lunch from a local, office favorite
  3. Show up early to ensure tech set-up
  4. Offer to take people out to dinner at night
  5. Arrive with company swag to give out
FOOD IS HERE

Things to stand out after:

  1. Handwritten note follow ups for who hosted
  2. Lock down a ‘next meeting’ the following day or 2, to continue the momentum
