Make Your Monday’s Suck Less 🙂

If you are opening this at the time it goes out (10:50 AM CT), it means I haven’t had a meeting yet this morning.

And I haven’t had a single one all of 2024 before 11 AM CT.

I block my my calendar every Monday from 8-11 AM CT with an event that says “Do Not Book.”

Every Monday 🙂

Does that mean I’m not working during that time? Sleeping in?

It’s actually my most productive time.

Reasons why I do it:

-Meeting no shows are super high first thing Mondays

– Lowers my anxiety on Sunday not worrying about an early meeting

-Sets my week up for success having a deep time to strategize

What I do during that time:

-Review my calendar for the week

-Make a master to-do list for that day

-Update everything CRM related

-Do meeting preps in bulk

-Review my customer list and usage

-Schedule this newsletter 🙂

If you work for a trusting company, don’t be afraid to own your schedule.

The 37 other hours in the week I keep open, are plenty enough.

Only you know when you work best.

Bonus: I started doing this with late Friday afternoons too. I’ll allow myself to book over it for any important meetings, but don’t need a 4 PM 1st discovery call.
